Are you organised, detail-oriented, and ready to play a crucial role in Johannesburg Eye Hospital’s supply chain? We are seeking a dedicated Stock Assistant to ensure our medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals are efficiently managed and always available.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Receiving Stock: Handle and verify incoming stock.
Distributing Stock: Ensure timely and accurate distribution of supplies to various departments.
Returning Stock: Manage returns and exchanges of defective or surplus stock items.
Managing Expired Stock: Monitor and handle expired stock appropriately.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular checks and audits.
Stock Replenishment: Assist in ordering and replenishing stock to avoid shortages.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Keep precise and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 certificate
Experience: 1 – 3 years experience in stock management, knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical stock control systems and intermediate computer literacy.
