STRABISMUS (SQUINT) SURGERY

Strabismus surgery, also known as squint surgery, is surgery to the muscles that are responsible for the position of the eyes. The aim of squint surgery is to get the eyes to be straight in primary position, thus when you are looking straight ahead. Most strabismus operations are based on tightening or weakening the muscles around the eyes by a calculated amount in order get the desired position of the eyes.
